letterpress, crystals & pockets....oh my!

We recently completed this set of invitations that just WOW'ed us! The bride & groom (one of our favs!) are working with Tina of Oh So Fabulous, so we knew the look & feel of their wedding would be nothing less then...well...FABULOUS!

The details!...
With the color scheme of shades of purples, a splash of pink and hints of gold, we were in love! The couple decided on an invite style of an open pocket with the inserts stacking to just show their monogram at the top of the mounted invite. Printed on metallic card stock, the letterpress technique just enhanced these colors to the max. The pockets gave way to a sort of modern inner envelope...each had the guests' first names done in calligraphy (by Laura Hooper Calligraphy) in a gold ink. The metallic plum envelopes were also personalized by hand.

And of course, what's a fabulous invite with out the bling? Each invite was embellished with two Swarovski crystals to really make the monogram pop.
