a hauntingly beautiful wedding

Take a look at these gorgeous photos from one of our closest bride and groom, Liz & Greg's, wedding back in 2010 that was on Halloween. These pictures were taken by the incredibly talented Monika Broz. We hope this satisfies your need for some spookiness!

stylish shower for a stylish mommy-to-be

One of our favorite event planners, Tina from Oh So Fabulous, came to us last year to design invites for her best friend's baby shower. With the colors grey, yellow, lavender and a touch of gold...how could we say no! The look was modern city...with a touch of shabby chic...we were in love. We designed the invites with a pattern that was carried out throughout the day of stationery as well. The invites were also embellished with small rosettes to finish them off. For the day of items, we designed menus, table numbers, favor stickers and the onesies that spelled our the baby's name! So cute

hottness in puerto rico

Way back in 2009 we met with our bride and groom, Monique & Mike, for the first time and hit it off! We just loved their look for their wedding in Puerto Rico...which was fun, modern and anything but traditional.

We started off designing their save the dates that had a bold hot pink ombre feel to it, but yet a touch of elegance with their script font and swirl design. It definitely set the tone for their big day! Next, their invites were a sleek pull out style invitation with a hot pink Swavorski embellishment for that touch of bling (we can never get enough of that!). Then the fun of the day of stationery...our favorite were the circle menus! Take a peek at some of the photos the lovely bride and groom sent over of our work.

a beautiful spring florida wedding

What better way to brighten up a fall day then to look back to a Spring wedding we designed for last year. We loved Erin & Erik's April 2011 wedding look and color scheme of pink, lavender & silver. Their pocket folder invitation with ribbon closure set the tone of the day...and their look was continued with lots of day of stationery. From booklet style programs (with the unexpected pop of pink inside)...to Mr. & Mrs. chair signs (love those!)...to favor stickers that were on cupcakes (and lots more)...everything coordinated with their look and completed the day! So much so their wedding was featured in The Knot Florida magazine! Take a look at some of the BEAUTIFUL photos from the day of...

our tips to make letterpress work for you!

You may think having a letterpress wedding invitation is completely out of the question when thinking about your budget...but here's a way to make it work!

This beautiful invite was printed 1-color in letterpress on a metallic white card stock...we added the bride's pop of yellow with the invite backing (this can also be done as a flat invite and add the pop of color with the envelope or envelope liner). All of the insert cards were flat digitally printed and the main envelope was printed flat offset. An envelope liner in a matte textured grey paper was also added (which we love!).

Combining the digitally printed insert cards with the 1-color letterpress really helps make this a budget-friendly letterpress invite...while still keeping the upscale look!

Love this idea but want to use the traditional Crane's letterpress paper? We can print the invite and RSVP envelope using the Cranes and mix and match another paper for the inserts and main envelope to still print in both techniques! This would compliment any wedding look beautifully!

a springtime baptism

We're excited to share photos of some designs that are close to our heart...earlier this month was Bernadette's daughter, Olivia's baptism! We of course designed EVERYTHING from invites to all day of stationery. All the items had a spring feel with peach, white, light gold and grey colors and a mix of paper colors and textures. There were the tented escort cards, menus, table numbers, a stroller sign, Godparent chair signs and tags for the yummy candy station favor and more!

stationery for a rustic fall wedding

It's not always the bride that finds us...last October, a Mother of the Bride contacted us for some last minute stationery pieces for her daughter's wedding (since the bride was out of state). She was recommend to us by their wedding planner Rashana of The Bridal Party. We were thrilled to help them out! Their look was rustic with a touch of whimsy with the beautiful color scheme of ivory, moss green and slate...we incorporated this into their programs, escort cards, mounted menus and drink signs. Absolutely enchanting!

a fabulously spooky affair

We can't say enough how much we love this look AND color scheme for Alexa's Bat Mitzvah planned by Tina from Oh So Fab. With the spooky masquerade feel and hot pink, orange, black and gold colors...we were hooked! It all started with their AMAZING boxed and letterpressed invites that were embellished with crystals and feathers. See one of our past blogs for a pic of the invite! The look continued with all their day of stationery, including custom pillows, menus (that were mounted on die-cut cards), escort cards, table numbers and more.

a summer wedding with a modern twist

Back in December of 2010 we had the pleasure of meeting with bride and groom, Tara & Richie, for their August 2011 wedding. We worked with them to design their beautiful and modern wedding invites, which were square pocket folders. Their color scheme of black, white & eggplant worked perfectly for their look! They wanted to incorporate a monogram, which we designed in a sleek modern way. We also designed their day of stationery to keep their look going at their venue, Maritime Parc in Jersey City, on their big day.

an elegant summer wedding

Last year, we had the pleasure of working with a wonderful bride, Hilda and her fiance Ili on everything wedding! From their save the dates, to invites, to their day of stationery. We worked hand-in-hand with Tina from Oh So Fabulous on their look (we always love her wedding designs!). Their color scheme was kept very elegant with whites, golds and pop of aubergine.

We've recently worked with Hilda again on invites and stationery for her baby shower...we can't wait to see photos! We wish Hilda & Ili all the best!
